Philosophy:

 Academic coaching provides stronger, more focused, motivated learners.

A dual approach is optimal – strong systematic skill building combined with
school support for successful, continuous progress.

Student’s needs must be pinpointed through formal and informal evaluation.

Potential must be developed, it is simply the possibility of . . .

 

 Policies:

Changes in schedule must be made seven days in advance.

bullet

Changes made fewer than seven days in advance will result
in a $15 cancel/reschedule fee.

bullet

Cancelled lessons must be rescheduled.

bullet

Only one (1) lesson every six weeks can be credited against
the next month's tuition.

bullet

Notice must be given one week prior to a student’s final lesson,
at which time an exit interview will be scheduled.

 

 Program Description: 

bullet

A multidisciplinary program providing systematic instruction in reading,
study skills, writing, and testing.

bullet

 Instruction in one on one and in small groups.

bullet

Lessons are 1, 1 ¼ , 1 ½ , or 2 hrs with students attending twice a week.

 

 Expectations: 

bullet

Students enroll and attend on a set schedule

bullet

Students will have a positive, respectful attitude for learning.

bullet

Parents will get updates from their student’s teachers about
school progress on an agreed schedule and communicate
these to PREP School.

bullet

Mrs. Newman will communicate progress updates monthly.
